We are delighted to announce the first three distinguished speakers for our upcoming conference, The Rule of Law – the route to a better future for Palestinians and Israelis, taking place on 8 May 2025 at King’s College London, The Strand, and online.
This conference will bring together leading legal minds and experts to discuss the role of international law in shaping a just and peaceful future.
Our First Three Speakers
Dalal Irikat – Associate Professor of Conflict Resolution at the Arab American University in Palestine, columnist, and commentator. Dr. Irikat is a respected voice on diplomacy, governance, and the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, advocating for peaceful solutions grounded in international law.
Baroness Hale – Former President of the UK Supreme Court and a trailblazer in legal thought. Baroness Hale is renowned for her commitment to justice and the rule of law, with a career spanning decades of landmark rulings in human rights and constitutional law.
Blinne Ní Ghrálaigh – Leading international human rights and public law barrister. Blinne has represented clients at the highest levels including, as a member of the legal team representing South Africa’s proceedings accusing Israel of genocide, at the International Court of Justice. She is widely recognised for her expertise in international law and accountability.
Sam Rose – Deputy Director of UNRWA Affairs in Gaza
